AGRICULTURAL OCCUPANCY CONDITION
'Meadow Howe' is subject to Planning Permission dated 12 August 1974, for a Bungalow at Hardrigg Farm, Grayrigg [Lambrigg Parish].
The Conditional Planning Consent, under South Lakeland District Council, reference 5/74/0474, stipulates:
'the occupancy of the new dwelling and the existing farmhouse at Hardrigg Farm shall be limited to persons wholly or mainly employed, or last employed locally in agriculture as defined in Section 290 [1] of the Town & Country Planning Act, 1971, or in forestry or dependents of such persons [including a widow or widower] of such a person'.
A copy of the Planning Permission is available for inspection at the selling agents offices, but prospective buyers are recommended to consult with the Planning Department of South Lakeland District Council, details of which are provided in these particulars of sale.
LOCATION
From Kendal town centre, follow the signs to Appleby, the A685.
There are two alternative routes on the A685, either by turning right just past the Church at the foot of the hill in the centre of the village and continuing along the lane before turning left at the crossroads after the railway, or by turning right approximately a mile south of Grayrigg, signposted 'Docker', taking the first left opposite a farm.
