DIRECTIONS
From Kendal take the Underbarrow Road up and over Scout Scar through Underbarrow and Crosthwaite to reach the A5074, Lyth Valley Road. Turn right and follow the road in the direction of Windermere for about two miles to reach the village of Winster. Go past The Brown Horse pub and take the second private drive on the left. Follow the drive keeping straight ahead, passing a white farmhouse on the left. The Hayloft will be found just beyond.
Winster can also be easily reached from Junction 36 of the M6 motorway via the A590 and the A5074, Lyth Valley Road, and from Windermere from the north.
