CALDER VALLEY WOODS
Calder Valley Woods are part of a much larger area of woodland which flank the River Calder and have been owned by the vendors since 1969 following a Tree Preservation Order being declared to prevent unauthorized timber felling. Historically nature conservation has been the prime objective and the lush carpets of woodrush, dense patches of bilberry and in the spring fantastic displays of bluebells and wild garlic go a long way to proving this.
The Private Treaty sale of these woodlands presents a rare opportunity to purchase an idyllic Lake District woodland rich in flora and fauna.
